📋 Description

• Profitably underwrite complex new and renewal commercial business through disciplined risk
• Apply critical thinking to assess exposures, evaluate controls, determine appropriate pricing, and
• Clearly document underwriting rationale, risk assessments, and key decisions for assigned accounts.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to team members handling complex risks.
• Manage the assigned renewal book and portfolio effectively to achieve established profit and
• Drive production goals within the assigned territory through marketing, prospecting, agency

🎯 Requirements

• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Completion of, or progress toward, AU, CIC, and/or CPCU designations preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience preferred.
• Advanced risk evaluation capabilities and strong knowledge of insurance contracts.
• Ability to execute underwriting strategy effectively and make sound decisions within delegated
• Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to mentor, coach, train, and support
