Sr. Security Software Engineer, Security Operations

📋 Description

• Own the architecture and technical direction of critical Security Operations systems, automation
• Design and build reliable production services, infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code that
• Develop scalable guardrails and paved paths for areas such as identity and access, infrastructure
• Improve how Pinterest identifies, prioritizes and remediates security issues by integrating
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition and technical design through
• Establish engineering standards and provide technical guidance that improve the quality

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing, building and operating complex production systems in security engineering
• Strong experience with AWS security architecture, Terraform and infrastructure-as-code, ideally in
• Experience in one or more relevant areas such as cloud governance, CI/CD security, vulnerability
• Demonstrated ownership of complex or ambiguous technical initiatives, including defining
• Strong software engineering judgment across system design, APIs, reliability, observability
• Ability to influence technical decisions, communicate complex risks clearly and raise engineering
