Sr. Tooling Engineer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (ME, ID, Hardware, Quality) to understand
• Lead tooling design and development for metal and plastic components, including design for
• Serve as the primary technical liaison with tooling suppliers and manufacturers to ensure tooling
• Manage tooling timelines, budgets, and documentation throughout the product development lifecycle
• Drive tooling qualification, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives for
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in tooling engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with plastic injection molding, die casting, and/or metal stamping
• Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read complex engineering drawings
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, or similar)
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
