Sr Weld Technician, First Shift

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the weld development team and engineering team to develop and perform GTAW weld
• Prepare tooling and parts by trimming, beveling, cleaning, aligning, assembling, and tack welding.
• Identify and resolve issues in the manufacturing process, which could include defects in materials
• Work alongside teammates to build a culture of safety, precision, and right-first-time.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all members of the team.
• Help set up and optimize the production shop floor following 5S principles.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ year’s performing GTAW welding in relevant materials such as Stainless Steel, Inconel, Aluminum
• Proficient in material preparation and joint fitting for welding.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to follow work instructions and part drawings.
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Comfortable with measuring and cutting tools.
