Staff Accountant

📋 Description

• Support day-to-day accounting and finance activities under the direction of the Director of Finance.
• Review and analyze departmental budgets in collaboration with relevant teams to support accurate
• Determine applicable prevailing wages to support accurate certified payroll processing and
• Assist with sales and use tax filings and related compliance activities.
• Perform accounts payable reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.
• Support month-end closing activities and contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within construction, contracting, manufacturing, or a
• Strong knowledge of prevailing wage regulations, financial reporting, and accrual accounting
• Excellent analytical, organizational, mathematical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
• Experience with accounting software such as Rootstock or QuickBooks is preferred.

🎁 Benefits

• Annual salary of USD $65,000 – $70,000.
• Full-time, non-exempt employment.
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
