Staff AI Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Secure AI implementations with guardrails and gateways to protect agentic workflows.
• Agent hardening and sandboxing to prevent tool-calling, prompt injection, and data exfiltration.
• Define paved roads and security standards to enable safe AI features.
• Threat modeling for AI workflows: lead security reviews for agentic AI systems and deployments.
• AI discovery and visibility: build systems to discover and assess AI usage and data flows.
• Technical leadership and mentorship across product, security, and infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• AI Security Expertise: Deep knowledge of the AI threat landscape, including OWASP, MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF with practical experience with prompt injection and AI threats.
• Software Engineering: 8+ years in security engineering or backend software development with Python or Go and cloud experience.
• Agentic Framework Knowledge: Experience securing or auditing LangChain, Strands, Claude Agent SDK, or tool-calling agents in sandboxed environments.
• Architectural Expertise: Design scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), API gateways, proxies, and access controls for enterprise systems.
• Technical Leadership: Drive technical strategy and mentor engineers across domains.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or equivalent.
