Staff Antenna/ RF Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end antenna design for Fi products, from proof-of-concept through mass production.
• Lead antenna architecture and contribute to overall system architecture, including RF component
• Design, optimize, tune, and validate antennas to meet aggressive constraints around size
• Work closely with mechanical, industrial design, firmware, leadership, and overseas engineering
• Push antenna performance using a mix of best practices, state-of-the-art approaches, and novel
• Partner directly with overseas CM/JDM teams on antenna implementation, performance testing

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing electrically small antennas for consumer electronics or similar
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to translate product-level connectivity requirements into RF system and antenna
• Deep hands-on experience with custom antenna design in the ~600 MHz to 3 GHz range, including
• Strong understanding of antenna integration, including use of enclosures and mechanical structures
• Experience across common antenna fabrication methods and materials, including LDS, FPC, PCB
