Staff Business Intelligence Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and evolve Twilio's BI tools, governance, and roadmap.
• Design scalable dashboards and reports for multiple business functions.
• Architect and deploy AI that enables natural language querying and self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineers, partners, and AI/ML engineers to deliver data products.
• Establish BI best practices: semantic layer, metrics, governance, docs.
• Partner with leaders to identify opportunities for better data visibility and prioritize.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in BI or data analytics with 2+ years in staff/senior IC role.
• Experience managing enterprise BI platforms (Tableau, Looker, Superset or similar).
• Strong SQL and data modeling in a modern data warehouse (Snowflake, Athena, etc.).
• Proven self-service analytics delivery reducing centralized data dependency.
• Experience translating requirements with stakeholders into scalable data products.
• Experience with dbt or similar semantic/transformation layers.
