Staff Data Scientist (Insurance Tech)

📋 Description

• Support the decision-making of EvolutionIQ’s leadership team in critical recommendations
• Uncover new product research directions through exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing
• Create data insights to win clients by helping define and build the sales & marketing narrative
• Present results to internal stakeholders as well as our clients in the insurance industry
• Generate meta-analysis across clients to drive product & sales strategies
• Build, own, and standardize client-facing analysis and reporting on existing products

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of data analysis/quantitative experience, preferably within Machine Learning and Product
• At least 2 years experience in mentoring or tech-leading junior analysts and business-critical
• Masters degree in statistics or equivalent quantitative field with strong focus on applied
• Sophisticated knowledge of statistics, linear & non-parametric modeling, and advanced SQL
• Designed, implemented, and analyzed A/B or multi-arm experiments with clear recommendations for
• Proficient in the use of Python, pandas, Jupyter notebooks, and SQL-based analytics dashboards
