Staff Engine Systems Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Driving engine system (architecture + CONOPS) trades
• Managing engine interfaces and negotiating requirements to optimize for the vehicle
• Supporting engine system development overall
• Supporting engine system analysis and simulation
• Supporting engine testing, tool development, and more
• Leading collaborative projects to completion with minimal oversight

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field
• Experience applying engineering fundamentals in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
• Working knowledge of liquid-propellant rocket engines
• Clear evidence of ownership, problem-solving skills, and effective team collaboration
• Demonstrated drive to deliver on ambitious schedules, even with unconventional and creative
• 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in complex engineering system development and/or test
