Staff Engineer - Developer Productivity

📋 Description

• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end developer experience across build, test, and deployment
• Lead the evolution, architecture, and optimization of a large JavaScript/TypeScript monorepo
• Reduce build times and continuous integration (CI) bottlenecks through advanced tooling, caching
• Implement, scale, and maintain modern monorepo and build system technologies such as TurboRepo
• Improve testing infrastructure, visibility, reliability, and execution speed across multiple
• Design scalable systems and workflows that accelerate developer iteration cycles while reducing

🎯 Requirements

• 8–15 years of professional experience in backend engineering, developer productivity engineering
• Extensive experience with developer tooling, build systems, monorepo infrastructure, or internal
• Proven ability to support engineering organizations scaling from approximately 40 to more than 100
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems, including modern development workflows and
• Strong understanding of systems design, software architecture, and distributed systems behavior.
