📋 Description

• Architecture and technical direction across squads
• Anticipate technical problems and make design decisions to avoid them
• Frame complex and ambiguous technical topics at the system level
• Write code on critical and transverse pieces: shared libraries, core services, migrations
• Set the example on testing, observability and deployment practices

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering, including a substantial period in a transverse or lead role
• Strong backend skills in Ruby or another backend ecosystem
• Comfortable with distributed systems, relational databases, Kafka, REST and gRPC APIs, cloud
• Built and operated business-critical systems at scale
• Led a large migration or architectural transition across several teams
• Can point to measurable improvements in stability, performance or scalability
