Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, Feature Flags

📋 Description

• Hands-on technical partner for customers implementing Datadog Feature Flags.
• Work inside customer codebases to unblock deployments and accelerate migrations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, and Engineering to turn contracts into live implementations.

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack coding ability.
• Experience with feature flagging, experimentation, or config management systems.
• Ability to rapidly ramp on unfamiliar codebases and languages; strong fundamentals required.
• Experience shipping production code and managing migrations, not just demos.
• Customer-facing experience or motivation to work with customer engineers and adapt approaches.
• Ability to simplify complex technical tradeoffs for engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
