Staff Fullstack Engineer (Business Cards)

📋 Description

• Own the technical vision and architecture for the Cards platform, and lead the design and delivery
• Remain hands-on across the stack (React/VueJS and Python), building critical components and setting
• Make and document key architectural decisions (e.g. RFCs, ADRs) with clear trade-off analysis.
• Partner with engineering leaders across Ebury to align the Cards platform with the core payments
• Partner with data engineers to shape the data architecture behind analytics and machine learning.
• Own the full product lifecycle under our "You build it, you own it" philosophy, and set the team's

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with significant fullstack depth and a proven track
• Expert proficiency in Python3, REST APIs, FastAPI, or similar technologies.
• Proven experience designing and evolving the architecture of complex distributed systems.
• Deep production experience with event-driven architectures and event sourcing, including
• Experience helping build or scale an engineering team, ideally as an early or founding member.
