Staff Industrial Designer

📋 Description

• Design and develop large-scale fitness equipment and subsystems
• Collaborate with Product Management, Mechanical Engineering, UX Testing, and Software
• Lead end-to-end product development from concept to launch
• Make design decisions and explain the rationale
• Use varied inputs to stimulate creative thinking and evolve our design language
• Communicate ideas via prototypes, sketches, and CAD to partners

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Industrial Design with complex assemblies
• Deep understanding of the product development process for hardware
• Lead cross-functional projects with program leaders and partners
• Define parameters and prioritize deliverables to meet goals
• Experience bringing analog and digital products to market with ergonomics
• Mass-produced manufacturing experience across injection molding, stamping, welding
