Staff Machine Learning Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead development of advanced machine learning and AI models to improve marketplace algorithms
• Design and architect robust MLOps practices for seamless deployment and scalability of ML models
• Automate model training and post-training (fine-tuning, RLHF/preference alignment, distillation)
• Own full MLOps lifecycle: data pipelines, experiment tracking, CI/CD, model registry, monitoring
• Define and own rigorous evaluation frameworks for deep learning and ML systems (offline metrics

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related)
• 6+ years experience in data science and machine learning, ideally in tech/marketplace environments
• Hands-on experience post-training and self-hosting open-weight LLMs (fine-tuning, quantization
• Deep understanding of evaluation metrics across deep learning and classical ML
• End-to-end fluency in MLOps lifecycle: data versioning, feature stores, CI/CD for ML, model
• Knowledgeable about large-scale distributed application architecture, design, implementation
