Staff Machine Learning Engineer - Music Mission

📋 Description

• Define and drive ML engineering strategy for Discovery Mode and royalty programs
• Design, build, evaluate, ship, and refine production ML systems
• Provide technical leadership on complex ML initiatives
• Collaborate with research, product, design, and data science to build new capabilities
• Prototype approaches and scale solutions for Spotify for Artists customers
• Drive experimentation, testing, and tooling for ML systems

🎯 Requirements

• Deep ML experience with knowledge of algorithms, modeling, evaluation, and experimentation
• Hands-on production ML systems design using Python, Java, Scala, or similar
• Set technical direction and deliverables for complex ML problems
• Commitment to reliable software, data-informed development, and scalable systems
• Ability to lead technically complex projects from idea to production
• Clear communication of decisions/risks to senior leaders and partners
