📋 Description

• Own mechanical design from concept through high-volume production for compact, ruggedized
• Develop mechanical designs balancing size, weight, durability, sealing, thermal performance, RF
• Design mechanical components using plastic injection molding, stamped metal, die casting
• Build and analyze proof-of-concept prototypes, validating designs through FEA, tolerance analysis
• Partner with RF, electrical, and industrial design teams to integrate antennas, manage keep-out
• Develop passive thermal management, design for rugged environments (IP66/IP68, MIL-STD-810), and

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of mechanical product design experience in ruggedized, portable, wearable, or compact
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience directing teams of 3+ mechanical engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ruggedization standards (MIL-STD-810, IP66/IP68), plastic injection molding, creep
• Expertise in commercial CAD software (e.g., CREO or similar).
• Experience integrating PCB/PCBA, flex circuits, batteries, antennas, and electro-mechanical
