Staff Product Data Scientist, Lending

📋 Description

• Turn complex product, customer, and risk data into insights and durable metrics.
• Use AI tools and agent workflows to speed and improve analysis.
• Own end-to-end analysis across metrics, experimentation, forecasting, visualization, and decision support.
• Define measurement frameworks for credit products: eligibility, repayment behavior, usage, loss, funnel, outcomes.
• Design and analyze experiments, rollouts, and policy changes shaping access and product growth.
• Lead technical direction and reusable frameworks for the Block Data Science team.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, economics, computer science, or similar; 12+ years in a relevant role.
• Graduate degree in similar field with 6-8+ years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and data visualizations.
• Strong product, analytical, and statistical judgment to turn questions into analyses.
• Experience using AI tools to speed and improve analysis.
