Staff Product Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and own the product security roadmap based on risk, impact, and maturity.
• Establish and evolve security posture across the engineering organization.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Infrastructure, and Platform teams for secure design.
• Own and review security-critical code, including authentication and access control.
• Architect secure-by-default libraries and tools to make secure paths easier.
• Drive mitigation strategies during security incidents, coordinating cross-functional efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in product security, application security, or security-focused software engineering.
• Track record of identifying and remediating vulnerabilities (CVEs, bug bounties, published research).
• Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives and influencing engineering teams without direct authority.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and developing security talent.
• Strong programming skills with production-grade software.
• Nice to Have: cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and LLM/AI security.
