Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Identify and implement novel query optimization algorithms in the Core Mining Engine
• Analyze performance and scalability bottlenecks and solve them
• Optimize execution plans for vectorized, parallel processing
• Design high-performance systems to handle increasing DB request rates
• Advise on best practices in database usage and architecture
• Mentor teammates and grow the engineering team

🎯 Requirements

• BS in CS; MS/PhD preferred
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering
• Background in database internals (query optimization, execution) for large-scale systems
• Proficient in C++ (C++17)
• Strong analytical mindset and data structures/algorithms
• Curious mindset with a drive to improve systems
