Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, UX, and SRE colleagues to define requirements and design
• Lead feature development from discovery through to production, including technical design
• Make technical decisions that balance product needs, engineering quality, performance, security
• Work on products offered to customers as either SaaS or on-premise software.
• Help raise engineering standards by mentoring others through code reviews, technical feedback
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within an agile delivery team.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive hands-on development experience delivering major features for products with complex user
• A product-minded approach to engineering, balancing technical constraints, scope, customer needs
• Experience using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate different parts of the software development
• Strong Java development experience, with a track record of applying object-oriented design
• Experience with Spring or similar Java frameworks.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs, ideally within a microservice
