Staff Software Engineer - Corporate Development

📋 Description

• Lead evaluation of startup acquisition opportunities in AI, cloud, and security.
• Drive product evaluations and architecture discussions with Product & Engineering; guide M&A roadmaps.
• Lead pre-transaction tech-diligence across the acquisition pipeline, scoping PoCs.
• Assess architecture, flag risks, and translate findings into leadership-ready recommendations.
• Act as primary contact for startups and cross-functional teams on integration and value.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced in product development, solution architecture or engineering.
• BS/MS/PhD in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• An excellent communicator.
• Cloud tech experience across infrastructure, APM, security, analytics, and AI/ML.
• A self-starter who excels in technically demanding, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships to facilitate deal flow.
