📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate core components of a real-time, low-latency decisioning system
• Take end-to-end ownership of subsystems: architecture, testing, deployment, on-call, evolution
• Build a mental model of a highly distributed production system and contribute
• Identify opportunities to evolve system and tooling
• Collaborate with engineers and AI scientists on distributed systems and ML-driven decisions
• Diagnose timing- or statistics-related issues in a concurrent, multi-region system

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years designing, building, and operating large-scale, low-latency distributed systems
• Proven end-to-end ownership: design, build, operate, on-call
• Ramp quickly into unfamiliar, large codebases and be productive fast
• Refactor live, business-critical systems without downtime
• Java expertise with concurrency and performance optimization
• Distributed caching, high-throughput messaging/streaming, and SQL/NoSQL datastores
