• Design, build, and test HR experience features
• Build AI tools to scale Gusto's HR Partners
• Mentor engineers on hard problems at scale
• Scale Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/React apps
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Design, and Platform Eng
• Create products our customers love

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Compliance/HR domain expertise in regulated domains
• Experience owning multi-quarter projects with measurable impact
• Experience driving cross-functional projects end-to-end
• Active use of agentic coding tools (Claude Code or Codex)
• Interest in building agents and MCP tools with safe use
