Staff Software Engineer - K9 Security

📋 Description

• Lead architecture and dev of security agent capabilities across Datadog security products.
• Design and build eBPF-based monitoring for Linux process, file, and network visibility.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of new features from design through testing and rollout.
• Improve coverage, detection quality, reliability, and performance via tests.
• Collaborate with product, security, infra, and eng on shared platform capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring peers and resolving cross-functional issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience with Linux systems, internals, kernel APIs, or systems programming.
• Hands-on eBPF, kernel instrumentation, driver development, or low-level networking.
• Experience building high-performance, reliable production systems.
• Experience with production Linux across distributions and kernel versions.
• Product-minded and customer-focused; balance tech excellence with customer impact.
• Demonstrated technical leadership across teams and stakeholders.
