Staff Software Engineer - K9 Security

📋 Description

• Lead architecture of security agent capabilities for runtime threat detection.
• Design eBPF-based monitoring for Linux process, file, and network visibility.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of new features from design to rollout.
• Establish testing methods to improve coverage, reliability, performance.
• Collaborate with product, security, infra, and eng to deliver shared platform capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor peers, and resolve cross-functional challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• Linux internals, kernel APIs, or systems programming experience.
• Hands-on eBPF, kernel instrumentation, driver development, or related low-level tech.
• Experience building production software where performance and reliability matter.
• Experience across multiple Linux distributions and kernel versions.
• Product-minded and customer-focused; balance tech excellence with usability.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, influencing architecture across teams.
• Degree in CS or equivalent preferred.
