Staff Software Engineer, Network Development

📋 Description

• Own design, development, and long-term health of network automation platforms.
• Build/configure config generation, device provisioning, and workflow automation.
• Develop observability tooling and internal CLIs/APIs for operators.
• Design and implement production software that operates the network.
• Collaborate with Network Eng, Observability, Fleet Eng, and HPC teams.
• Join on-call rotation and mentor engineers to improve the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
• CI/CD experience: testing, code review, deployments.
• Solid networking fundamentals: IP addressing, routing, DNS, NTP.
• Automation/orchestration experience; Zero Touch Provisioning.
• Experience with Linux, Kubernetes, Ansible/Jinja, NetBox, Prometheus/Grafana.
