Staff Software Engineer, Onsite Customer Growth

📋 Description

• Define and own architecture for Attentive's Onsite Growth platform and shared infra.
• Lead cross-functional tech strategy with product, design, ML, and data science.
• Identify and address engineering risks before blockers to the business.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and user-facing capabilities.
• Improve observability, resiliency, and performance at scale.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team's technical bar.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience at scale.
• Staff-level impact: architectural decisions shaping product area.
• Deep proficiency in Java or TypeScript.
• Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.
• Strong technical communication; RFCs and design reviews.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational DBs, caching, queues, streaming.
