Staff Software Engineer, Storage

📋 Description

• Own the architecture and delivery of multi-tenant storage services on CoreWeave hardware.
• Set technical direction for foundational storage services built from scratch.
• Ship storage as a first-class Kubernetes citizen: CSI, provisioning, snapshots.
• Work with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, RoCE, InfiniBand, SPDK and distributed FS.
• Drive reliability, durability and observability with telemetry and dashboards.
• Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and shape storage across the org.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in storage systems, database internals or infrastructure engineering.
• Track record building storage or database systems used by others.
• Strong production experience with distributed file systems, block storage, e.g., NFS/S3, Ceph/Lustre.
• Depth in the storage data path: IO performance, caching, crash consistency, resilience.
• Expert in Rust, C++ or Go systems programming.
