Staff Software Engineer, Tooling (Product)

📋 Description

• Independently scope, design, and deliver cross-cutting backend/web/mobile solutions end-to-end.
• Architect onboarding, identity/KYC, and customer support workflows at scale.
• Set technical direction beyond your team; guide designs across the product unit.
• Leverage AI coding tools and automation to raise engineering velocity.
• Own the DevOps lifecycle for your systems, including security and recovery.
• Plan and deliver multi-team, long-term projects with external dependencies.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years software engineering experience building/operating production systems at scale.
• Track record delivering large multi-system/multi-team projects from architecture to operation.
• Proficiency in a typed language (TypeScript/Java/Go/Scala) and JS/TS for web/mobile.
• Experience building consumer-facing apps with strong UX/UI sensibilities.
• Fluency with AI coding tools and automation in daily workflow; strong testing.
• Excellent cross-team communication and leadership abilities.
