Staff Supplier Process Engineer

📋 Description

• Ensure suppliers meet requirements for quality, service, delivery, and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement of suppliers' business and manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on long-term fit and total cost of ownership.
• Provide DFM input to new designs and guide Engineering in supplier selection.
• Manage supplier changes including process changes, facility changes, and new equipment
• Oversee process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), pFMEA, Gage R&R, and capability analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years in engineering/manufacturing with experience in MIM, metal machining, or plastic injection
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Experience implementing Lean/Six Sigma/SPC programs.
• Project management skills.
