Staff Vehicle Fluid Systems Engineer (Product)

📋 Description

• Own the fluid architecture across propellant, pressurant, and pneumatics subsystems.
• Guide hardware design, system analysis, and validation for the fluid system.
• Lead cross-functional interfaces with Propulsion, Structures, GNC, and Avionics.
• Perform 1D steady-state thermofluids analysis when needed.
• Define test scopes for development, qualification, and vehicle-level integration.
• Collaborate with partners to find best fluid solutions for Terran R.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
• 7+ years of experience with complex fluids systems
• Strong background in fluid system architecture, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer
• Proficient with one or more fluid or thermal modeling tools for analysis
• Experience with Matlab, Python, or C++ for data analysis or modeling
• Direct experience designing or operating launch vehicle or spacecraft fluid or propulsion systems
