📋 Description

• Provide interim executive leadership for enterprise-wide HB and PB HIM and coding operations across
• Directly lead and mentor multiple Director-level HIM and Coding leaders, ensuring accountability
• Guide coding operations through a major Epic system upgrade and subsequent optimization project
• Drive operational improvement initiatives across HIM and coding workflows during periods of
• Partner with Revenue Cycle, Compliance, IT, and executive stakeholders to maintain coding accuracy
• Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators related to coding quality, productivity

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Health Information Management and coding within
• Proven experience at the Senior Director, System Director, Vice President, or equivalent executive
• Extensive expertise in both Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) coding operations.
• Demonstrated success leading HIM and coding teams through Epic upgrades, go-lives, or major
• Experience managing multiple Director-level leaders and large, geographically distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of coding compliance, revenue cycle operations, healthcare regulations, and
