Supervisor, Analytical Laboratory

📋 Description

• Providing day-to-day supervision of laboratory personnel
• Being responsible for the daily operations of the laboratory, including but not limited to
• Performing administrative duties, including but not limited to writing employee performance
• Performing annual review of SOPs and work instructions
• Coaching and mentoring Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLSs) and laboratory associates, including
• Managing the testing and validation of new procedures and laboratory equipment

🎯 Requirements

• Possess a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license or Clinical Genetic Molecular
• Bachelor of Arts or Science in Biomedical Laboratory Science, Clinical Science or related field
• Six or more years of CLS licensed work experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Possess working knowledge of local, state, and federal laboratory regulations
• Strong understanding of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance
• The ability to prioritize tasks with a high emphasis on quality
