Schedule and route drivers; ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
Train new drivers and conduct Job Safety Observations (JSO)
Recruit, interview, select, and mentor drivers; monitor performance with coaching/discipline
Prepare transportation reports; monitor budgets and fuel cards
Monitor driver hours of service via onboard system; conduct route observations
Maintain driver qualification files; schedule truck maintenance and fleet image

🎯 Requirements

High School Diploma; some college or 2-year degree preferred
2-3 years of documented supervisory experience
2-3 years of route scheduling experience
Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
MS Office, SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), scanner equipment/software
Willingness to support 24-hour operation and carry emergency cell phone
