Systems Engineer, VDI Platform

📋 Description

• Design and stand up Next Gen VDI platform infrastructure and OS lifecycle.
• Integrate Teleport cluster with IAM, RBAC, and MFA-enabled Okta SSO.
• Build Ubuntu LTS and Windows 11 image pipelines using Packer.
• Write and maintain Chef cookbooks for post-provision configuration.
• Bake security agents (CrowdStrike, Netskope) into base images and policies.
• Lead end-to-end integration testing and security reviews before launch.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience operating and automating cloud infra on AWS/Azure/GCP—compute, networking, storage, IAM, and cost tooling.
• Linux admin (Ubuntu preferred) and Windows 11 endpoint mgmt; shell/PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on IaC/config mgmt tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Packer) in production.
• Experience integrating IAM solutions—Teleport, Okta, or SSO/PAM/ZTNA; RBAC design and policies.
• Experience building OS image pipelines: code-driven builds, tests, release promotion, staged rollout.
• Familiarity with security agents (CrowdStrike, Netskope); bake-in to base images and policies.
