Tax Account Registration Specialist

📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end tax registration process for new and existing customers expanding into new states
• Complete and file all necessary Power of Attorney forms
• End-to-end implementation of new customer profiles, including registering accounts for state-level
• Partner with state agency representatives to ensure proper account setup
• Execute and complete TPA confirmation workflows, ensuring Justworks is properly linked to customer
• Manage the queue of open issues to deliver timely and effective solutions regarding customer's

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in tax registration, filing, or reporting
• Strong technical proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, data manipulation) and experience
• Multi-state expertise: Experience managing tax accounts across multiple states for a large employer
• Expertise with government portals: Familiarity with online tools for registrations, POA, and TPA
• Communication skills: Proven ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and clarity
• Process-driven: Track record of driving process improvements and thriving in fast-paced, fluid
