Team Lead, Android Core Product

📋 Description

• Own major features end to end, working closely with the design team, from decision through release.
• Own, maintain, and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback.
• Unblock the team by investigating and resolving blockers.
• Consolidate solutions to shared problems and standardize team usage.
• Maintain shared code components, ensuring they are tested and clear.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including team leadership while staying hands-on.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture
• Experience shipping and maintaining background audio or long-running background work.
• Understanding of testing approaches, including their limitations.
• Track record of introducing team-adopted ideas and honestly assessing their cost.
• Comfort with asking people to change how they work and managing friction.
