Technical Business Analyst

📋 Description

• Lead discovery with stakeholders to map current workflows and outcomes.
• Distill ambiguity into clear problem statements, scope, risks, and success metrics.
• Translate business needs into process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineers and product owners to refine requirements and unblock execution.
• Support testing by defining test scenarios, coordinating UAT, and validating features.
• Location: On-site in New York, NY.

• A track record of leading business analysis or requirements work on real software delivery projects.
• Strong discovery and requirements skills — turn conversations into testable requirements.
• Comfort in technical discussions: APIs, data flows, basic system behavior, and questions for engineers.
• Excellent written communication — artifacts are clear and usable by engineers and business partners.
• Strong stakeholder management — build rapport and alignment without force.
• Think in workflows and data: process mapping, edge cases, exceptions, and controls.
