Technical Lead Manager, Synthetic Data

📋 Description

• Lead the Synthetic Data team within Simulation, setting technical direction for generative world
• Define algorithmic and system design for GAIA generation, focusing on efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with driving-model owners and evaluation teams to align on utility and scalability of
• Mentor team members, review experimental designs, PRs, and ablations.
• Manage direct reports, conduct 1:1s, and provide feedback.
• Stay current with state-of-the-art in video generation, camera transfer, and distillation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ML engineering or applied research roles, with a track record of training
• 4+ years of people management experience, including direct reports and cross-functional project
• Deep knowledge of generative modelling (diffusion, flow matching, autoregressive, or VAEs) applied
• Hands-on experience with video, generative, or world models (e.g., video generation, novel-view
• Working knowledge of cameras and 3D geometry (multi-camera rigs, intrinsics/extrinsics, warps
• Evidence of closing the loop: taking generated/simulated data into downstream model training and
