Technical Procurement Specialist

📋 Description

• Translate engineering requirements into clear specifications, quantities, lead times, and
• Manage the procurement cycle from approved request through delivery, keeping engineering and
• Prepare, issue, and administer purchase orders in line with approval requirements and procurement
• Research and source technical components and services, including vacuum hardware, cryogenic
• Request and evaluate quotations, pricing, lead times, and commercial terms, and support supplier
• Maintain supplier relationships and support performance reviews, spend tracking, and procurement

🎯 Requirements

• At least two years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally in a technical, industrial, or
• Experience with sourcing, purchase orders, supplier communication, invoice administration, and
• Degree or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requests
• Experience procuring under tight schedule constraints in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, energy
• Sound judgment when evaluating supplier quotations, lead times, commercial terms, and supply risks.
