Technical Product Marketing Manager

📋 Description

• Own positioning and messaging for Baseten products across inference, Model APIs, training and
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to understand architecture, tradeoffs, and roadmap, and
• Keep product-level messaging consistent with Baseten’s platform narrative so each product story
• Write messaging that is technically credible without getting lost in implementation detail.
• Build and run launch plans for new products and major capabilities, from internal enablement
• Decide what deserves a full launch and what should ship through docs, sales enablement, or targeted

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, or developer marketing, with at least 2 of
• Strong writing. You can take a dense technical topic and make it clear without oversimplifying it
• Technical fluency. You’re comfortable reading docs, asking engineers specific questions, and
• Hands-on competitive analysis experience: you’ve compared products in depth, formed a view, and
• A track record of learning unfamiliar products and markets quickly and moving between them.
• Experience launching technical products or capabilities, including deciding what to launch and how.
