📋 Description

• Advise on core scenarios - Guide treatment of rent, concessions, deposits/refunds, subsidies/HAP
• Translate workflows into requirements - Turn real-world accounting cases into clear requirements
• Review calculations and language - Validate prorations, allocations, adjustments, and charge/credit
• Lead testing and validation - Develop representative test cases, run UAT with client accountants
• Define standards and terminology - Establish consistent event lifecycles, terms, and concise
• Capture best practices - Distill patterns and edge cases from enterprise customers into durable

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in multifamily property accounting or controllership at a PMC/owner-operator/REIT (ideally
• Deep knowledge across GL & sub-ledgers, resident ledgers, deposits, and close; strong US GAAP
• Comfortable communicating with client accounting/operations/leasing teams
• Crisp stakeholder communications, including writing & presentations
• Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week
