Texas Rising Star (TRS) Mentor

📋 Description

• Provide remote or face-to-face coaching to Early Learning Programs (ELPs).
• Guide, advise, advertise, and support ELPs in attaining or maintaining Texas Rising Star
• Develop and implement Continuous Quality Improvement Plans (CQIPs) with providers.
• Provide professional development experiences to support continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain caseloads of TRS Providers in accordance with guidelines.
• Complete documentation and data entry accurately for contracted child care centers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, child
• One-year experience of full-time early childhood classroom experience in a child care facility
• Experience in social services skills relating to parents, children, and providers in the child care
• Willingness to take and pass Texas Rising Star Mentor certification.
• Knowledge of child care licensing standards and needs of young children preferred.
• Capacity to write clearly and succinctly to maintain records.
