Threat Intelligence Engineer

📋 Description

• Assist collection, processing, and analysis across intel workflow.
• Maintain intelligence requirements register under guidance.
• Draft threat actor profiles, campaign summaries, and IOC packs.
• Ingest, validate, and score IOCs from feeds and sources.
• Support IOC pipelines integration with SIEM and EDR (Sumo Logic, CrowdStrike).
• Apply confidence scoring and STIX 2.1; escalate data quality issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically at least 2 years in threat intel, security ops, or related role.
• Familiar with intelligence lifecycle, threat actor profiling, and STIX 2.1.
• Experience with SIEM or EDR; run queries, review alerts, validate detections.
• Understanding typosquatting and dependency confusion in OSS.
• Strong written and spoken English; explain threat info clearly.
• Bachelor's in CS/info security or related field; entry-level certs preferred.
