Trade Compliance Attorney

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on U.S. customs matters, including IEEPA, duty refunds
• Independently manage customs investigations, enforcement matters, prior disclosures, internal risk
• Advise on tariff matters, including Section 232, and support ongoing tariff-related initiatives and
• Provide legal support on trade-remedy matters, including antidumping and countervailing duty
• Advise on emerging trade and technology-related issues, including AI export-control considerations
• Partner with key business and legal stakeholders to identify customs risks and translate complex

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience practicing U.S. customs law
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex customs matters
• Substantive customs-law practice
• Strong experience with customs investigations and enforcement, valuation, country-of-origin issues
• Experience advising on matters before U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other relevant
• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent legal qualification
