Transmission Line Design Engineer (PLS-CADD)

📋 Description

• Develop overhead transmission line designs using PLS-CADD
• Perform line routing, profile development, and plan & profile drawing preparation
• Conduct sag-tension calculations and optimize conductor clearances
• Analyze line geometry considering terrain, environmental constraints, and regulatory requirements
• Generate construction staking reports, material quantities, and design documentation
• Coordinate with tower, foundation, survey, and geotechnical engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• 5-15 years of experience in overhead transmission line engineering
• Hands-on experience using PLS-CADD for transmission line design
• Experience with projects ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV (or applicable voltage levels)
• Strong understanding of transmission line engineering principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
