Underwriter II, USDA Generalist

📋 Description

• Underwrite a broad spectrum of lending products, regardless of transaction size or complexity
• Review new deal packages for accuracy, completeness, and overall credit quality, conduct initial
• Order, review, and interpret financial and business due diligence, including financial statement
• Develop a thorough understanding of each prospect’s business, operating model, asset conversion
• Collaborate closely with Business Development Officers to provide consultative credit guidance
• Prepare clear and comprehensive credit narratives for approval, documenting risks, mitigants

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in commercial lending, credit underwriting, financial
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements, cash flows, collateral, credit information, and
• Working knowledge of credit policies, underwriting standards, due diligence, loan documentation
• Strong business acumen and understanding of a borrower’s business model, operating environment, and
