Underwriting Assistant, Health

📋 Description

• Assist Underwriters with file review and data reconciliation for insurance applications
• Coordinate with vendors and internal sales teams as directed by leadership
• Ensure customer documentation is accurate and collected timely
• Apply logical thinking to define problems, gather data, and create resolutions
• Communicate status and needs with underwriters and internal teams
• Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role; background in business, finance or economics
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new information
• Enjoys helping others solve problems and working with people
• Flexible and open to changes in processes or teams
